The first series for Flight B is a land triple with an honor. Marks are thrown far right first, far left mark 2nd, and a live flyer in the middle. Mark #1 is thrown from left to right into a strip of cover and is 86 yards. There are mowed zig-zag strips that the dogs must navigate for marks 1 and 3. Mark #2 is the longest mark in the series, with a high arc bird launched across the road into semi-thick cover and this mark is 128 yards. The live flyer is positioned right in the middle of the test and is thrown slightly angled back from left to right, with a distance of 114 yards from the line.
After the working dog retrieves all birds from the field, the dog and handler move over to the left and honor the next working dog.
