2nd Series is a walkup triple with a single land blind. The walkup bird is the first bird thrown and the gun station is hidden in thick tree cover and is 45 yards from the line. The mark is on the far right side of the test and is thrown slightly angled back from right to left. Mark #2 is your live flyer and is 110 yards from the line. This bird is thrown from right to left and angled back and this mark is in the middle of the test. The dogs must carry the side hill through various cover to find this bird. Mark #3 is the go bird at 100 yards from the line. The bird is a flat throw from right to left. This bird is on the other side of.a dirt road and the terrain is rolling with short periods of time to loose sight of the dog.
The test is on a side hill and the field is mowed with several strategically clumps of thick cover for the dogs to negotiate.
The last requirement to complete this series is a single land blind that is placed behind the flyer station at 103 yards from the line. There is considerable suction temptation with the flyer mark on the left side of the gun station and a blind placed on the right side of the gun station. The terrain also rolls downhill which is a factor in this land blind.
